These are inexpensive plastic battery cases. They hold four AA or four AAA batteries. They are available in blue, green, or plain (no coloring).

Inova X5 LED Flashlight
Nice design flashlight. Has five LEDs , and uses two CR123 lithium batteries. It is activated by twisting the tailcap.
Mine produced a nice, useful flood beam.
After several years of intermittent use, I dropped my Inova X5 onto a concrete floor, and it no longer works properly.

This is a nice pocket light.
It uses a single CR123 lithium battery, and has seven LEDs.
Turn the light on and off by twisting the head.
A nice feature is the keychain loop on the end of the light.
It was introduced before 2006.
